I bought a mod kit this week to replace the spring in my G29 brake pedal. Installed the new spring, and also did the install of the old brake spring into the clutch pedal and the old clutch spring into the gas pedal.
Very happy with it.
However there's a slightly squeaky sound from the brake pedal. Not terrible but slightly annoying. I noticed when I did the installs that there was some grease inside the cylinders. I want to top up this grease. Can anyone tell me:
1. what type of grease I need to buy, and
2. What/where exactly should I grease? The spring itself? The whole inside of the cylinder? on the little black rubber o-ring that came in the spring kit to put around the head of the red casing that slides inside the other red part?
Anywhere I should ensure to avoid greasing?

I know this is late but, maybe someone else could use the answer.
SuperLube Synthetic grease.
Use as little as possible but this is the best answer I’ve found.
I suggest an electrical cleaner for the potentiometer while you’re in there already 👍🏾
